You have to be under contract before the end of April 2010, and close by the end of June 2010. Your income has nothing to do with it. 		<description>Carolyn - If you purchased in 2010, then the tax credit would be applied toward your 2010 tax return. If you&#039;re still in doubt, then be sure to check with your tax adviser or CPA. BTW, congrats on your new home!   :)</description>
